To get the last date of the month.

Return value

The END OF MONTH function returns the last date of the month in the current context for the specified column of dates.

Syntax

=ENDOFMONTH(<dates>)

Arguments

Usage notes

The dates argument can be a reference to a date/time column.
The dates argument can be a table expression that returns a single column of date/time values.
The dates argument can be a Boolean expression that defines a single-column table of date/time values.

Things to remember

  • The boolean expression cannot reference a calculated field.
  • CALCULATE function cannot be used in a boolean expression.
  • The expression cannot use any function that scans a table or returns a table, including aggregation functions.
  • However, a Boolean expression can use any function that looks up a single value, or that calculates a scalar value.
